To achieve rapid and low-cost prototypes one can use resins, silicone products both as a finished product or as a template: Raytech casting products are characterized by high fluidity, mechanical and elastic properties, as regards the latter so are the products in paste. Lastly, the resins, thanks to their strength and hardness, are used mainly for casting into the mould.
SILICONE PRODUCTS
Ray RTV – Two component liquid silicone rubber, fast cross-linking, non-toxic and without shelf life. Has elevated mechanical and elastic characteristics, as well as resistance to high temperatures. For this reason it is suitable for the preparation of moulds for all types of application for the relief of profiles, for repair of damaged artefacts (relief print), including successive castings of materials at high temperature. The applications range from engineering items, artistic application, scenography, to construction, etc.
Standard product: pot life of 10 'at 23 ° C, black colour, 30 Shore A hardness; other pot life, colour and hardness on request.
